Pengembangan Modul Ajar Berbasis Aplikasi Desygner pada Materi Teks Biografi untuk Meningkatkan Kelayakan dan Keefektifan Pembelajaran Kelas X di Sekolah Menengah Atas Swasta Al-Ulum Medan

Abstract
This study aims to develop a teaching module supported by the Desygner application for biography text materials, evaluate its feasibility, and assess its effectiveness in enhancing the learning process. Conducted at SMA Swasta Al-Ulum Medan, the research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach guided by the ADDIE model, which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The study population comprised 198 tenth-grade students, with a sample of 33 students from class X-1. The findings revealed that evaluations by two material experts rated the module as “very feasible,” with percentages of 87.3% and 88.6%, respectively. Similarly, two media experts rated it as “feasible,” with percentages of 86% and 80%. Field trials involving 33 students demonstrated a “very feasible” outcome at 95%, while teacher assessments also indicated “very feasible” results with a percentage of 93%. These outcomes confirm that the Desygner-assisted teaching module is both feasible and effective for use in teaching biography texts, thereby providing a practical and innovative instructional resource to support student engagement and learning achievement.
