Analisis Perbandingan Social-Emotional Learning dan Peer Teaching terhadap Kreativitas pada Pembelajaran Seni Budaya dan Prakarya (SBdP) Siswa Kelas IV SDN 101928 Rantau Panjang

Abstract
This study aims to analyze the comparative effectiveness of Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) and Peer Teaching methods on the creativity of fourth-grade students in the subject of Arts, Culture, and Crafts (SBDP) at SDN 101928 Rantau Panjang. The main issue in SBDP learning is the lack of innovative teaching methods that can foster students’ creativity both individually and collaboratively. This research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. The subjects were 40 fourth-grade students divided into two groups: class IV A using the SEL method and class IV B using the Peer Teaching method. Data were collected through a creativity questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability, and analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, and t-tests.The results showed a significant difference between the application of SEL and Peer Teaching on students’ creativity (Sig. < 0.05). The class applying SEL demonstrated improvements in individual creativity, particularly in emotional regulation, self-expression, and originality of artwork. Meanwhile, the class using Peer Teaching achieved higher average scores by emphasizing collaborative creativity through teamwork, communication, and idea sharing. In conclusion, both methods are effective in enhancing students’ creativity, yet they show different characteristics of influence.
