Sub-themes and scope in the scientific publications include Islamic Studies in Social Sciences perspectives; and Humanities studies.

This journal publishes scientific articles in the scope of history, pedagogy, Islamic studies: Teaching & Learning in Islam, Philosophy of Education in Islam, Religious Education in Islam, Teacher Education in Islam, Early Childhood Education in Islam, Management Education in Islam, Education Development & Society in Islam, Education Leaderhip in Islam, Educational Technology in Islam, literature, intellect, tradition, culture, technology, local wisdom, and others that are relevant with issues of Islamic Education both historically and contemporary. Islamic Education is published twice a year (April and October) and accepts articles both in Indonesian and English.

This journal is concerned with education in its broadest sense, including formal and non-formal modes, from preschool to adult education and interested in comparative studies engages these approaches to deepen understanding of the relationship between education and learning. Education & Learning welcomes articles from all prospective authors, especially from scholars and practitioners.

    This journal is published regularly twice a year (March and September) and accepts articles both in Indonesian and English.

    Tematik: Jurnal Penelitian Pendidikan Dasar merupakan peer-reviewed jurnal oleh Medan Resource Center bekerjasama dengan Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Islam Sumatera Utara yang mempublilkasikan hasil-hasil penelitian dan pemikiran di bidang pendidikan dasar, meliputi: Penelitian Tindakan Kelas; Penelitian Pendidikan Dasar Kualitatif; Penelitian Dasar Kuantitatif; dan lainnya. Jurnal ini mengakomodir lingkup pendidikan dasar yang luas seperti: Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar atau Madrasah Ibtidaiyah; Pendidikan Guru Taman Kanak-Kanak; Pendidikan Dasar Usia Dini; dan lembaga pendidikan dasar lainnya baik formal maupun non-formal.
